The visit was a few months ago ... Even in Coroana times, an extremely friendly and courteous staff. The food is great as always. Keep it up...
We went there to eat after a hike. Very good and cozy. The two ladies are very friendly.
Beautiful hut in great surroundings. Super nice service and very tasty food. There is also a very good offer for vegetarians. It is great that the hut can only be reached on foot or by bike or by public minibus. Above the hut there is another impressive waterfall, about five minutes away.
Delicious cakes are available there and the journey leads through a wonderful landscape
Great cabin. Delicious dishes. Friendly service. Great starting point for further hikes. The Hochplatte or the Kessel circular hiking trail is easily accessible. You can also hike over to Austria: 👍
Very nice hut in a very nice location. Friendly staff and very tasty dishes at fair prices.
Bergdteiger Hut. Still relatively few tourists. From the Buchenbergalm in around 2 1/2 hours to reach. Dream hiking trail.
Nice MTB tour with steep ramps ... but not bad ... forest roads ... the descent should not be underestimated ... better back via Lobental ...
Very nice hut, nice staff, very good food and drinks, will definitely come back at the next opportunity 👍😊
Excellent food, very nice service and a great starting point for further hikes.
Yesterday we hiked from the Halblech parking lot to the Kenzenhütte. The 10km tour was advertised with 3 hours. We then reached the hut after about 2.5 hours. The hiking trail to the hut was flawless and well signposted. Here you can experience pure nature. Once at the top we were welcomed very friendly and made ourselves comfortable in the heated room. From 11:30 am there was warm food - the dishes were simply excellent. (Actually we were already full - but since the food tasted so good, we ate both dishes.) With (over) satisfied hunger and spherical bellies we continued walking for about 5 minutes and could see the wonderful waterfall . The hike back to the parking lot was also great. The climb is definitely worth it. A warm praise and many thanks to the great service in the hut. We will definitely stay in one of the available rooms overnight.
Great team! Nice sovereign staff, even in Corona times. Exceptionally great!
Totally nice hut, hearty team, mega-delicious food. We will definitely be back ... 😊 Accessible by bike, on foot, or by bus taxi ... (great that you also thought of those who would otherwise not get such a nice spot due to age or illness). 👍⛰
Was upstairs with my e bike. What is normal and possible with other huts with regard to charging the battery is not comprehensible here. Rude and awkward.
We had the best time at the Kenzenhuette. The employees were especially nice. Food was delicious. Next time we're in Germany, we'll be back. Update - Two years later, our 2nd visit was as good as our 1st! 😀 Same wonderful sisters running the hiking cabin.
One of my favorite huts and starting point for many hikes. Also great for a night nei multi-day tours, such. from Tegelberg to Ammergau. On nice days quite crowded. The food is always very good and the staff are nice, except for the landlady, who should still work on their kindness and the attitude with the guests.
A somewhat demanding bike tour to the Kenzenhütte. For hikers, there is a shuttle bus to the Kenzenhütte from hallech. The Kenzenhütte is the starting point for beautiful hikes. The stay at the Kenzenhütte is always pleasant, especially if you arrive early. The bacon platter is recommended.
A medium-sized secluded mountain hut where you can relax after a hiking trip. Very nice staff (no self service), low waiting times and a nice atmosphere. Cranberry jam is also served with the Kaiserschmarrn. Gladly again: D
Visited last year. Nice place.
Always worth a trip, whether only for a day or, as we did this time, 3 days. Great atmosphere and super great staff.
The Kenzenhütte is the central starting point for very good hikes in the Ammergebirge. Very easy to reach by the bus shuttle from Halblech. It is best to start the bus at 08.00 and enjoy a simple breakfast at the hut before starting the hikes. Even beginners can make the hike around the Kenzenkessel in 4 hours. At the end of May / beginning of June, snow can still be found at about 1700 meters altitude on the shadow side of the mountains.
Hi Guys. We were here yesterday with a group of 14 adults and 12 children. Super nice food is delicious. The waterfall is also very nice. With children you need about 4 1/2 hours. To the parking lot.
